Simply Weekend is one of the biggest, most dance-filled Modern Jive events on the calendar. Come join us this October for dance parties, workshops, competitions, and a massive black tie ball held at Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa on the beautiful Wellington waterfront.

Register now!We're very excited to announce a new venue for Simply Weekend this year! Our parties, workshops and competition will be held in the Alan Gibbs Centre at Wellington College.
For the Secret Agent Simply Ball this year, we're returning to the Amokura Gallery at Te Papa on the majestic Wellington waterfront.
Simply kicks off with the Welcome Party on Friday night! Start the weekend by catching up with old friends, making some new friends, and dancing the night away.
Saturday begins with three open workshops and two advanced workshops. Each open workshop will be approximately an hour long (or 1hr 15min for advanced workshops), with 15-30min gaps to give everybody time to hydrate and have a few social dances. Check out Masters & Workshops for more info.
The Simply Competition is a fun, casual competition open to everybody. The categories this year will be Dance Roulette, Swaps and Steals, and Lucky Dip. Check out Competition for more info.
After the dinner break, we'll kick into our Jive Masters programme, which consists of performances from our Masters, followed by competition prizegiving.

Workshops continue on Sunday starting at 10. We'll have three open workshops and two advanced workshops running during this time, again with 30min gaps. Check out Masters & Workshops for more info.
